Wednesday Results:
Under 16
Janek Peladeau 2nd in his rep heat and moves on
all other under 16 Canadians did not progress including Simon Bauer who competed today sick with the flue
Under 18
CC, Sam and Taylor have yet to surf, comp stopped due to storm
Kye Peladeau does not progress.
Thursday Results:
Under18
Taylor and Sam's incomplete maneuvers and low scores do not allow them to move on
CC holds second place throughout the heat until a blatant interference is not called. At the five minute mark when the scores are announced and he's dropped to third place, temporary panic sets in and CC can't find the wave to give him the scores he needs to move on.
Under 16
Janek finds himself in a stacked heat, surfs the outside but does not come up the scores he needs to move on
At the end of Day 5 of the Competition Canada is out.

update May/27/2008:
Due to very poor conditions the ISA WJSC is on hold until Wednesday. We began the day on a holding pattern until 1230 then until 3:30 and at 3:30 the head judges decided that the contest would continue to hold until Wed. morning. We have an 0800 start. The boys have been busy playing basketball with Japan and several South Americans competitors, surfing the little that's out there, playing poker and of course eating french bread and cheese.
