MAIDN’ VOYAGE FINDS PERFECT CONDITIONS IN WASAGA

WASAGA, ON - Maidn’ Voyage presented by O’NEILL made surfing history this past weekend with perfect learning conditions when the tour stopped off in Wasaga Beach, Ontario. The second of three stops scheduled on the cross Canada tour.

Wasaga Beach, ON - Maidn’ Voyage Surf Tour, August 17-19, 2007

On Friday, August 17th, 2007, extremely high off shore winds prevented much from happening on the beach front and all clinics were ultimately cancelled. However, on Saturday weather turned for the best providing sunshine and perfect 1 to 3 foot swells; making for perfect teaching conditions. Clinics were maxed and spectators lined the beach to show their support.

Sunday was another glorious day on the beach and clinics were once again filled as families and friends gathered to learn from the acclaimed seasoned veteran and Hall of Fame surfer, Peter “Pan” Panagiotis.

The Maidn’ Voyage presented by O’NEILL is dedicated to supporting “surf awareness” in Canada and features a string of highly anticipated surf clinics providing amateurs with the chance to learn from a seasoned veteran. The clinics are open to all ages and families. Participants will have the chance to win a variety of prize packs including O’NEILL apparel, Vestal watches, BIC surfboards, SIRIUS Satellite Radios and much more. Spectators will also have the chance to win from a prize pool worth over $10,000.
