Cost him a fin and an inch of nose but "it was fun" and that's a quote.
The bar was mushy, got better with the tide and then started to fizzle.
Real nice, amiable crew. Said they surfed this spot by moonlight last night.

the buoys were bangin and I just had to go out
the wind screamed down the beach and tried to plaster the swell flat.
The battle raged all day and all that caught waves, fought their way.
