» Sept 4-5, 2010 23rd annual Kitimat Fish Derby

» The annual fishing derby will occur on the Labour Day weekend, with cash prizes for fishers and even prizes for non-fishers.

» The fishing starts Sunday, September 5 at 7:00 a.m., ending Monday, September 6 and 4:00 p.m.

» Prizes are available for the biggest, fastest, and most unique catch.

» For non-fishers there will be a pancake breakfast, kid’s zone, casting pond and dunk tank.

» From noon on Sunday, the Fishstock 2010 Music Fest begins featuring beer and root beer gardens and a scavenger hunt.

» Tickets can be purchased at City Centre Hardware, Bradley’s Bait & Tackle and the Kitimat Chamber of Commerce @ 1-250-632-6294

» Prizes include but not limited to....$1,000 for largest coho and another $1,000 for the largest halibut.
